R.Riveter Collab: You Can Change The World, Girl.

R.Riveter has launched their “Fight Like Rosie” collection, and this year proceeds are benefitting my work as a military spouse and breast cancer survivor. The collaboration celebrates resilience, empowerment and ACTION! I met with the team earlier this year and discussed ideas to make an impact and uplift their community during breast cancer awareness month. I showed them my favorite piece hat included their phrase, “You can change the world, girl.”

To me, this phrase represents represents empowerment, hope, and action—all values that fuel my work. I believe we each have the power to spread hope and kindness and make a real impact in the world around us. I hope this collection empowers women to take action, do good in the world, and keep pushing onward. Something I like to call SURVIVRE.

Take a look at the collection below and shop directly at R.Riveter:

I am excited about the insert cards we created that celebrates the importance of taking Action This October:

The card reads:

Be your own advocate. Know what's normal for your body and speak up if something changes or doesn’t feel right.

Do a self-exam. Using three fingers, go all the way around your breast, in to your armpit and up to your collarbone. Repeat on the other side.

Schedule routine appointments. Mammograms, gynecology and primary care included.

Know your family history. Ask questions and communicate your team if cancer runs in your family.

Explore genetic testing. Lift up our stories. breast cancer can happen before age 40.

TALK ABOUT IT. THESE CONVERSATIONS CAN SAVE LIVES.

Spread kindness. to yourself and to others.

You Can Change the World, Girl.
